In a toast to local excellence, Woodinville Whiskey Co. and Bainbridge Organic Distillers have emerged triumphant from the esteemed San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Woodinville Whiskey Co. clinched the coveted Double Gold for its renowned Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a blend crafted on the Eastside before maturing for an impressive eight years at the Omlin Family Farm in Quincy. Infused with corn, rye, and barley sourced directly from the farm, this bourbon boasts a flavor profile that captivates connoisseurs far and wide.

Meanwhile, Bainbridge Organic Distillers lived up to expectations, securing Double Gold for its celebrated Yama Mizunara Cask Whiskey, alongside two additional triumphs: Whiskeys Forty Saloon and Battle Point Barrel Proof. Yama, revered as one of the state's most coveted whiskies, is meticulously crafted from barley cultivated in Walla Walla and aged in rare Mizunara oak from the northern reaches of Hokkaido, Japan. Its unique blend of mango, star anise, and sandalwood notes consistently dazzles judges and collectors alike.

Among other standout victors, Doc Swinson’s, renowned for its blending expertise at its Ferndale facility, claimed Double Gold for its Exploratory Cask Moscatel, Exploratory Cask French Toasted, Bottled in Bond Rye, and Exploratory Cask Golden Hour. Rediviva Distilling in Washougal also garnered accolades for its delectable Cherry Almond Liqueur.
